Boo.

Tired already and all I've done all day is lay in bed and watch tv/play on the computer.. hmn. :>>

Yesterday we went to Poole Harbour to walk the dogs, as soon as we all packed into two cars and left the house it started to chuck it down, literally. Weirdly it had all cleared up by the time we got there (probably due to my dads slow driving) and it actually turned into a really nice walk. The dogs loved going swimming in the freezing sea, and my nephew really enjoyed running through the long grass. Awesome sunset, too. Pictures of said walk to follow. (I need to find my camera cable, probably under the bed somewhere..)

We have guests coming over tonight (insert sarcasic yey), some friends of my parents from church. They're nice enough people, I just have nothing in common with them and find it all rather false smiles and time wasting conversation.

So anyway, our house is looking remotely tidy for once, well, the downstairs anyway. My parents arn't exactly lazy, they just don't see the point in tidying something that's just going to get messy anyway. Except for visitors, then they turn into proud, upper class homeowners. Hah.

We're cooking them a family favourite, Valencian Paella. My favourite food in the world. Yum yum. :P It's a Spanish dish, basically chicken and rice with vegetables cooked in a special pan over an open fire. You can also use seafood and snails, but, well, ew. :p

Such a busy day yesterday. Took my brotherinlaw, sister and nephew to the massive Tesco near where I live. My sister etc live in Spain, so for them the massive Tescos was like being back in heaven, lol.

We then went for a walk along the river near here, it was early evening and so peaceful, yet just a few minutes walk away from the city. I'm surprised there wern't more people around, I think we only saw maybe 5, 6 people in the two hours or so we were there.

I wish I'd taken my "proper" camera (a Nikon SLR that I'm fiercly protective over :p), but alas you'll have to make do with my mobile photos. :(

Well today's been utter shite. Pouring with rain, again.

Our water boiler thingy decided to break today. So much water outside, so little in our house! So we've had no hot water at all, right bloody nuisance when I wanted to have a long quiet bath tonight. Oh well. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon. Knowing the moronic plumbers round here, probably next week. I guess it's showering with kettle-boiled water for a while; fun!

I have nothing more to say, normally I can type/write for hours. Mainly because of my lack of talking to people, I find I have so much I want to say yet no-one to talk to. That sounds so silly, yet so true. For example, I said good morning to my mum at maybe 8am this morning, didn't get a reply. And haven't spoken a word since. And it's 7pm now. Meh.

Ugh. Just got back from driving my dad around randomly to get some more experience. I think the only "compliment" he said the entire hour was "you're doing fine". Just fine. >:XX After I'd asked him about five times if I was doing okay. Gee, thanks. Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but getting one tiny compliment out of the man is practically impossible. :'(

Bought one of my dogs yet another collar today. That's her fifth one in two years. :'( Bloody chewable collars! I thought about getting a chain, but it looks so uncomfortable to be around her neck 24/7. Maybe I'll just start taking it off at night. Hmn.

Have a doctors appointment on the 15th up in Southampton. I have scoliosis, it basically means my spines twisted. Anyway, last year I had two metal rods placed either side of it to try and straighten it. It worked, but it left my right hip "sticking" out. And me being on the skinny side it looks even worse. So hopefully I'll have another op to lengthen the rods and basically fuse my entire spine. 8|

I'm still sitting on the fence on whether to have this done or not. Has anyone had it done? I think I'll still be able to bend and stuff like that, and that's the thing that's worrying me the most. And whether or not I'm just wanting this done purely for cosmetic reasons. Which is a bit shallow of me. But then again, people have nose jobs etc for purely cosmetic reasons, why shouldn't I be allowed a tiny bit of happiness and not have to glare in the mirror at my non-straightness. :'(

Ugh. Life sucks. :p

Blimey, I guess I turned nerd enough to try writing a blog. :p I doubt anyone'll read this so I'm not quite sure why I'm bothering writing it. I guess I've got to the point where talking to myself is considered borderline mental. ;) Maybe I am anyway. Who knows. Not that typing to myself is any different.. hmmn!

I've been thinking a lot about my 18th the past few days. My parents keep asking what I want to do for it, my reply is a constant "dunno". You're probably thinking typical emo teenager. I would too. But really, I have no clue whatsoever. I'd love a huge, loud, annoying-the-neighbours party. What almost 18yr old wouldn't? Plenty of alcohol, boys, friends and no parents. ;) :D

But that'll never happen. How do I know? I don't even know anyone my age, nevermind my parents letting me have a "normal" 18th. No, I'll probably spend it like my 16th. Alone, in my room, with my parents downstairs cooking a typical Sunday roast. Bor-ring. I can't wait.

Oh well. Bring on my birthday. And my fourth driving test, which I'm destined to fail. Again. >:XX

I shall leave you with this:
